Barchart - Sugar prices rose on Tuesday amid bullish news from the European Union. European sugar producers are expected to cut sugar acreage by 10% for the 2026-27 season, following a 10% drop in sugar beet acreage for the current 2025-26 season, according to a representative from the annual cane and beet growers conference in London.
